Our Vision

Over fifty years ago, a small group of men and women stepped out in faith to establish  St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.  The St. Michael’s family now seeks to exercise good stewardship of our resources – caring for this legacy, responding to current needs and planning for the future.  Long-delayed maintenance of our facilities and the need for physical improvements present an opportunity to build upon the faithful act that brought  the dream of St. Michael’s into being.  Our capital campaign is essential to our enduring ministry, as well as our ability to welcome and provide true hospitality for all.

In recent years, our parish has considered the current capital challenges before us within the context of preparing for future generations. Now, our collective vision has evolved into a clear picture of what our needs are and what we must do to secure the future of St. Michael’s. As we, together, turn this vision into reality, we will continue the tradition of foresight, faith and courage exemplified by our founders. This vision is a dream that will enable us to become the body of Christ that God created us to be.   We believe that as we each respond with heart and mind, together we can live into God’s dream for us.
